José Ramón Saura

Jose Ramon Saura is Marketing Lecturer of the Business Economics Department at Rey Juan Carlos University, Madrid, Spain. Previously, he held positions and made consultancy at a number of other companies including Google, Deloitte, Telefónica or MRM//McCann, among others. He earned an international PhD in Digital Marketing at the Rey Juan Carlos University, while researching at London South Bank University (LSBU) and Harvard University (RCC at Harvard). His research has focused on the theoretical and practical insights of various aspects of User Generated Content (UGC), with a specific focus around three major research approaches applied to business and marketing​: data mining, knowledge discovery and information sciences. His research has appeared in leading international business and marketing and information sciences journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing or IEEE Access. Jose Ramon Saura serves on editorial boards of a number of business and information sciences journals, and he is one of the Co-Chair of the 1st DBDS International Conference in Business and Marketing (DBDS 2020).
